Landskyrkan is a Lutheran church located in Alingsås, known for its historical significance and welcoming atmosphere. The church features a beautifully painted ceiling dating back to 1765, which adds to its aesthetic appeal. It has traditionally been a popular venue for significant life events such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals, reflecting its role in the community.
Since autumn 2022, Landskyrkan has not held Sunday services, with evening services and other activities relocated to Christinae Church. However, the church remains available for baptisms and weddings on Saturdays, and funerals are conducted on Fridays. As part of the Swedish Church network, Landskyrkan continues to serve the local community, providing a space for various events and gatherings.
