Bollnästravet is a racecourse located in Sävsjö, established on July 10, 1955. It serves as a hub for horse racing activities and is home to approximately 250 active license holders, including 13 professional trainers. The racecourse hosts a variety of events, with notable races such as the Bollnäsloppet and Prinsessan Madeleines Pokal, which attract participants and spectators alike.
In addition to its racing events, Bollnästravet places a strong emphasis on the preservation of the Swedish cold-blooded horse breed. The facility has been actively involved in promoting community engagement in horse racing and offers a comprehensive youth program through Travskolan, which has been in operation since 1995. This program aims to educate and involve younger generations in the sport, providing opportunities for both amateur and professional participants to engage in horse racing activities.
