Kyrkogårdsavdelningen i Lund manages thirteen cemeteries within Lunds Pastorat, providing over 16,000 burial plots. These cemeteries are accessible to all individuals, irrespective of their beliefs or affiliation with the Swedish Church. The organization is currently engaged in various maintenance and renovation projects, including ongoing facade work on Sankt Olofs chapel and the restoration of the wall along Getingevägen.
In addition to these projects, Kyrkogårdsavdelningen is establishing new ash burial plots at Linje Norra B (LNB) and conducting tree maintenance and removal in designated areas. The organization also undertakes seasonal activities, such as granris collection, and addresses environmental concerns, including alerts related to the flatworm issue. These efforts reflect a commitment to maintaining the cemeteries and ensuring they meet the needs of the community.
