DanMAX is a university facility located in Lund, specializing in materials science. It features a dedicated beamline that operates within the hard X-ray range of 15–35 keV, which is essential for conducting high-energy experiments. The facility is equipped with three endstation instruments that enable a variety of research applications, particularly in the fields of biomaterials and innovative technologies.
The capabilities of DanMAX include full-field imaging and a versatile powder diffraction setup that utilizes an area detector. Additionally, it houses a high-resolution powder X-ray diffraction instrument that employs a microstrip detector.
