Liljevalchs kägelbana, established in 1887, is a historic bowling alley originally located at Saltskogs gård in Södertälje. It was built by the influential industrialist C.F. Liljewalch and served as a popular attraction for summer guests at the family estate. The bowling alley was relocated to a museum in 1979 following a fire, ensuring its preservation as a significant piece of local history.
Today, Liljevalchs kägelbana is part of the Torekällbergets outdoor museum, where it continues to host bowling games during designated program days. The site offers visitors a unique glimpse into the recreational activities of the past and is preserved as a cultural heritage site. Additionally, engaging sound walks are available, enhancing the visitor experience by providing insights into the local history and the significance of the bowling alley within the community.
