Pagelska gården is a historical museum that provides insight into life during the 1860s. It was the original residence of the Pagels family from 1827 until 1913. The house, constructed in the 1700s, was relocated to Torekällberget in 1962, where it now serves as a venue for educational and cultural activities.
The museum features period furnishings and decor that reflect the living conditions of the time, allowing visitors to experience the historical context of the Pagels family's life. Guided audio tours are available, enhancing both indoor and outdoor explorations of the site. Additionally, the museum offers educational exhibits that highlight Södertälje's history as a trading town, along with family-friendly activities that provide information about the Pagels children and the contributions of Elisabeth Pagels.
Situated on the northern slope of Orionkullen, Pagelska gården also offers scenic views, adding to the overall experience of visiting this historical site. The museum serves as a resource for those interested in local history and the social dynamics of the 19th century.
