Centrum för Vetenskapshistoria is a records storage facility dedicated to the history of science. It offers archival research services, allowing researchers and the public to access a collection of historical documents and artifacts. The center also provides educational resources and programs aimed at promoting scientific literacy and heritage.
In addition to its archival services, the center hosts events related to scientific history and collaborates with Umeå University on postdoctoral programs. It features the Berzelius Society, which is involved in activities that celebrate significant milestones in the field, such as the 150th anniversary of the Meter Convention. Through these initiatives, the center engages with the public and fosters a deeper understanding of the evolution of scientific thought and practice.
