LFC – Bio-Digester is located in Uppsala and specializes in the development and implementation of bio-digestion technology. This technology is designed to convert organic waste into biogas and digestate, contributing to sustainable waste management and renewable energy production. The facility focuses on optimizing the anaerobic digestion process, which breaks down organic materials in the absence of oxygen.
The bio-digester operates by processing various types of organic waste, including agricultural residues, food waste, and other biodegradable materials. The biogas produced can be utilized for energy generation, while the digestate can be used as a nutrient-rich fertilizer, promoting circular economy practices. LFC – Bio-Digester plays a role in advancing environmental sustainability by reducing landfill waste and lowering greenhouse gas emissions associated with organic waste disposal.
