Västerås Mosque was established in 1995 and serves as a place of worship and community for Muslims in the area. The mosque features a main prayer hall that is now open and accommodates regular Friday prayers. With over 2,000 members representing 30 different nationalities, it reflects a diverse congregation that fosters inclusivity and community spirit.
In addition to its primary religious functions, Västerås Mosque is actively involved in educational initiatives, with approximately 100 children participating in Quran lessons.
