Merit is a training center located in Malmö that specializes in providing educational services aimed at enhancing employability for individuals, particularly immigrants. One of its key offerings is arbetsinriktad SFI (Swedish for Immigrants), which is designed to help non-Swedish speakers learn the language in a context relevant to the workplace. The center also offers SFI courses online, making it accessible for those who prefer remote learning options.
In addition to language training, Merit provides Rusta och matcha (Preparation and Matching) services, which assist job seekers in preparing for the job market. Personal coaching is available to support individuals in their job search efforts. The center includes vocational tracks in its SFI courses, with additional modules focused on Yrkessvenska, or work-related Swedish language skills. These programs are tailored to meet the needs of participants and complement the services offered by Arbetsförmedlingen, the Swedish Public Employment Service.
