Legilexi Stiftelse is an organization dedicated to promoting literacy development. It focuses on enhancing reading skills among students, particularly in adapted primary schools. The foundation conducts studies to better understand literacy challenges and offers various tests to assess reading abilities. This research informs their initiatives and helps tailor resources to meet the needs of educators and parents.
The organization also engages the community by hosting reading challenges, competitions, and educational events, including lectures aimed at fostering a love for reading. Additionally, Legilexi Stiftelse provides a platform for reading resources through its website, jagharläst.se, which serves as a valuable tool for both students and educators. By offering screenings for middle school students, they aim to identify and support those who may need additional help in developing their reading skills.
