Which terminal is domestic at Arlanda?

Where domestic flights leave from and what changed with Terminal 4.

Answered at: Checked at:

Short answer

No terminal at Arlanda is reserved for domestic flights: Swedavia says the old domestic Terminal 4 is now part of Terminal 5 and has both domestic and international traffic. The old Terminal 4 area is called gate area C. Terminal 2 is also in use, so check the terminal for your own flight.

Why

  1. Swedavia states that Terminal 4 is now part of Terminal 5 and has both domestic and international traffic.
  2. According to Swedavia, gate area C is the name for the old Terminal 4, which is now part of Terminal 5.
  3. Swedavia explains that all passengers must pass through customs in Terminal 5 on their way out, because domestic and international traffic now share the area.

Details

The change helps transfer passengers, because they no longer have to leave one terminal and go through security again in another, according to Swedavia. Terminal 2 is also in use, and Swedavia moved Jonair, Populair and Västflyg there when Terminal 3 security closed on 1 September 2026. For domestic travel options, see domestic flights and airports. Swedavia's pages were checked on 28 October 2026.
