Sjätte AP-fonden, also known as AP6, is a financial institution based in Göteborg that specializes in unlisted investments. With nearly 30 years of experience in the sector, the fund has returned over 4 billion SEK to pension savers. As part of the Swedish state pension system, it plays a significant role in managing pension assets for the benefit of retirees.
As of April 30, 2025, the fund's capital stands at 81.1 billion SEK. Recently, there has been a government vote advocating for a reduction in the number of AP funds, which has led to ongoing discussions regarding potential mergers among them. In addition to its financial activities, Sjätte AP-fonden has been recognized for its human rights initiatives and has a clear focus on sustainable and responsible investing.
