Halvön på Masthuggskajen is a housing complex located in Göteborg, designed as a two-hectare artificial peninsula. This development aims to create a mixed-use environment that includes residential units, commercial spaces, and recreational areas. The project features a variety of amenities such as housing, offices, restaurants, cafés, and a waterfront promenade, enhancing the urban landscape and accessibility to the water.
The construction of Halvön is managed by the Danish company Aarsleff, which employs advanced techniques such as pile driving and dredging to ensure the project's structural integrity and sustainability. The initiative emphasizes the integration of public art, showcasing works from local graffiti artists, and aims to foster community engagement through regular updates and newsletters. Additionally, the project represents a significant investment in local infrastructure, contributing to the overall development of the area while focusing on environmental sustainability.
