How to choose a shop: location, day of the week and time

  • In the centre: Kaserntorget and Kungstorget inside the moat, and Lilla Bommen by the river.
  • Vasastaden, Haga and Linné: Aschebergsgatan, Haga Nygata, Prinsgatan and Övre Husargatan.
  • Out in the districts: Karl Johansgatan in Majorna, Redbergsvägen in Olskroken and Sörhallskajen on Eriksberg.
  • The selection is a small part of the catalogue's fifty-odd florists and garden stores.

Of the shops in the centre, two are inside the moat, Vallgraven, on Kaserntorget and in Torgpassagen at Kungstorget, and one is at Lilla Bommen. The shop at Lilla Bommen is open on weekdays until 17:00 and closed at the weekend, while the two others are open every day of the week (the shops' own websites, October 2026).

South and west of the moat are the shops in Vasastaden, Haga and Linné. On Aschebergsgatan there is a shop that, by its own account, has been in the same premises since 1912 and is also open on Sundays, from 12:00 to 16:00. The shops in Haga and on Prinsgatan are closed on Sundays, and the shop on Prinsgatan also closes for the summer in weeks 28 to 31. The shop on Övre Husargatan refers to its Instagram account for current hours.

Out in the districts, the shop in Olskroken, which has existed since 1957, and the shop on Eriksberg are open on Sundays from 11:00 to 15:00. The shop on Eriksberg is closed on Mondays, and the shop in Majorna is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00. The other shops in the city are in the catalogue category Florists & Garden Stores, the Gothenburg page gathers facts about the city, and guides on other topics are under Rating of popular places.

Flower delivery: deadline, area and fee

  • Same day: order before 14:00 on weekdays at the shop at Lilla Bommen.
  • Area: several shops deliver across the city, one also to Kungsbacka, Lerum and Kungälv.
  • The rest of the country: relayed as a blommogram by two shops.
  • Collect it yourself: pre-ordered flowers can be collected from 8:00 at the shop at Kungstorget.

How late you can order depends on the shop. The shop at Lilla Bommen, which belongs to a flower relay network, delivers the same day if the order comes in before 14:00 on weekdays (the shop's ordering page, October 2026). The shop on Kaserntorget runs courier and home deliveries within Greater Gothenburg and takes the order by phone.

The area differs too. The shop on Aschebergsgatan delivers across the metropolitan area and mentions Kungsbacka, Lerum and Kungälv, the shop on Eriksberg delivers across the city, and the shop on Prinsgatan delivers in the city and its surroundings. If the flowers are going to the rest of Sweden, the shops on Prinsgatan and at Lilla Bommen relay them as a blommogram, and the shop on Prinsgatan states that this also applies abroad.

The delivery fee is added to the price of the bouquet. At the shop in Majorna it depends on whether the recipient lives in the city or in the surrounding area, and the bouquet is put together according to the budget, colour theme and occasion you choose. At the shop at Kungstorget pre-ordered goods can be collected from 8:00, that is, before regular opening time.

More than bouquets: courses, weddings, funerals and pots

  • Courses: workshops and flower courses at several shops, among them those in Haga and on Eriksberg.
  • Weddings and funerals: separate services at several of the shops.
  • Subscription: flowers every week for the home or the company.
  • Payment: the shop in Olskroken takes Swish, card and cash.

Several shops teach the craft. The shop in Haga, which calls itself a flower studio, and the shop on Övre Husargatan hold floristry workshops, the shop on Aschebergsgatan has flower courses, and the shop on Eriksberg advertises workshops for the autumn and winter (the shops' websites, October 2026). The shop on Prinsgatan arranges company and customer evenings where the guests make their own arrangements.

Bridal bouquets and funeral flowers are listed as separate services at the shops on Prinsgatan, on Aschebergsgatan, in Olskroken and at Kungstorget. Flower subscriptions are offered by the shops at Kungstorget and in Olskroken, and the shop on Prinsgatan has weekly flowers and plant care for companies.

If you need something to put the flowers in, two shops in the centre are the nearest choice. The shop on Kaserntorget sells its own ceramics and interior items alongside flowers and plants, and its entrance is in a courtyard reached through a gate from the street or via a café on Magasinsgatan. The shop at Lilla Bommen has pots, vases and home decoration.
