Föräldrakooperativet Tumlaren is a parent cooperative preschool established in 1990, situated in the Södermalm district of Stockholm. The preschool has a capacity for 20 children aged 1 to 6 years, allowing for small class sizes that facilitate personalized attention and support for each child's development. Since 1998, Tumlaren has operated under the I Ur och Skur educational philosophy, which emphasizes outdoor learning and nature-based education.
The preschool is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment, with experienced staff dedicated to fostering child development. Community involvement and parent participation are key components of the cooperative model, encouraging families to engage actively in their children's education. This approach not only strengthens the connection between parents and the preschool but also enhances the overall learning experience for the children.
