VSS varv is a corporate office located in Stockholm that provides a range of services related to marina and boatyard facilities. The organization features a clubhouse situated on Ekholmen, which serves as a venue for various events, including traditional Midsummer celebrations and crayfish parties. VSS varv also emphasizes community engagement by organizing sailing camps for children and youth, as well as junior sailing programs aimed at fostering sailing skills among younger participants.
In addition to recreational activities, VSS varv hosts the Vikingaregattan sailing competition, which is part of its commitment to promoting sailing within the community. The organization prioritizes efficient operations and encourages member participation in its activities. Environmental considerations are also addressed through the implementation of waste sorting (sopsortering) at the yard, and regulations are updated regularly to ensure compliance and safety. Storage options are available for members, with a short waiting list for lockers, and maintenance reminders are provided for equipment labeling to assist members in managing their boating needs.
