Tanto Norra Koloni is a community garden located in Stockholm. This garden is part of a larger initiative to promote urban gardening and sustainable practices within the city. It provides a space for local residents to cultivate their own plants, vegetables, and flowers, fostering a sense of community and connection to nature.
The garden is organized into individual plots that are allocated to members of the community, allowing them to grow a variety of crops according to their preferences and gardening skills. In addition to personal gardening, Tanto Norra Koloni often serves as a venue for workshops and events focused on gardening techniques, environmental sustainability, and community engagement. This initiative contributes to the city's green spaces and encourages biodiversity in an urban setting.
