The Swedish-East African Chamber of Commerce (SWEACC) is a non-profit organization based in Stockholm that focuses on fostering partnerships between Sweden and the East African Community (EAC). The EAC comprises eight member states: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Somalia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). SWEACC aims to enhance economic collaboration by supporting business development within these countries.
To achieve its objectives, SWEACC engages in various activities that facilitate networking opportunities and provide resources for businesses interested in trade and investment. The organization hosts events and workshops designed to connect stakeholders and share knowledge, thereby promoting a better understanding of the economic landscape in both Sweden and East Africa. Through these initiatives, SWEACC seeks to strengthen ties and encourage mutual growth between the regions.
