Rosendal is a housing development located in Uppsala, designed to create a climate-positive urban area. The project is structured in multiple phases, allowing for gradual implementation and adaptation of its features. The development emphasizes accessibility, offering various public transport options and a bicycle-friendly infrastructure, which aims to promote sustainable transportation methods among residents.
In addition to transportation considerations, Rosendal incorporates community engagement initiatives, including newsletters and opportunities for public feedback on urban planning. This approach ensures that residents can participate in the development process and voice their opinions on local changes. Recent modifications to detailed plans for specific areas within Rosendal reflect this commitment to community involvement.
A notable feature of the development is the introduction of a mobility hub named Brandmästaren, which aims to enhance transportation options for residents. The project also includes parking facilities that are transitioning to a new mobility house, further supporting the development's focus on innovative and sustainable urban living solutions.
